Responsibilities
Assist in managing daily operations of the pub to ensure a high standard of service.
Supervise and lead staff members, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance.
Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain quality and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for improving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
Assist in training new employees on company policies and procedures, including bartending techniques if applicable.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work environment, adhering to health standards.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality sector is preferred.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is advantageous.
Experience in bartending is a plus, with an understanding of beverage service standards.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and customers.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organisational abilities.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
