We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team at Glass House. This role is pivotal in supporting the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring exceptional service and a high standard of quality in all areas. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, culinary arts, or food production, with a passion for team management and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the establishment. Assisting in social media marketing. Supervise and train staff in various roles including, bartending, and front-of-house positions. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure quality food production and presentation. Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Implement training programmes for new staff members to uphold service excellence. Assist in creating staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak times.

Requirements

Proven experience in a hospitality or culinary environment, must be within a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and practices. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team. Experience in food production or kitchen operations is highly desirable. Bartending experience is an advantage but not essential. Outstanding communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
