. In late February 2026, we're beyond excited to be bringing The Bagel Shop to Exeter, and we're on the lookout for brilliant people to help us serve up our signature bagels, great coffee, and laid-back beachy vibes in this brand-new city spot.

Role Overview:

We're looking for someone with solid management experience as you'll be the go-to person on the ground when the owner or operations manager isn't around - helping run the shop day to day, supporting the team, and keeping things smooth, stocked, and high vibe.

What You'll Do:

Oversee daily operations and lead the team Handle last-minute staff cover and shift issues Cash management, reconciliations, and reporting Place and manage stock orders, deliveries & rotation Ensure exceptional service and cleanliness standards Work closely with the owner & operations manager

We're Looking For:

Previous hospitality or retail leadership experience A calm, confident presence on shift Strong problem-solving and people skills Flexibility and a hands-on approach Great communication and a good sense of humour Happy to travel to

Lyme Regis

for training (and occasional cover shifts) Availability to start
