Assistant Manager - Salon Operations & Client Experience

Michael John Guzzon, a leading London-based hair salon known for expert cutting, premium color services, and natural treatments like Florazzon, is looking for an experienced and ambitious Assistant Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in beauty or hospitality to step into a leadership role supporting the founder directly and growing into full salon management.

We're looking for someone highly organized, motivated, and confident in both front-of-house service and back-office operations--with the potential to evolve into the full Salon Manager position when ready.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the founder in managing day-to-day salon operations Oversee client bookings, payments, and front-of-house service Coordinate staff schedules and internal team communications Maintain strong supplier relationships and manage stock/inventory Assist with payroll and salon administration Ensure the salon maintains a high standard of presentation and client care Build strong relationships with clients, offering premium service and hospitality Handle basic social media engagement (DMs, appointment requests) Step in confidently when the founder is away to manage daily operations

What We're Looking For:

2+ years of experience in a salon, beauty, or hospitality management/coordinator role A passion for the beauty/haircare industry Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Strong organizational abilities and problem-solving mindset Confident with POS systems, booking platforms, and admin tools Calm, professional, and capable of leading a team
