Home Brew Tap Frodsham is a vibrant, independent craft beer bar known for its relaxed atmosphere, rotating tap list, and quality cocktails. We host regular events, tap takeovers, and community socials--creating a welcoming space for beer lovers and locals alike.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day running of the bar and help deliver exceptional service. This role is perfect for someone with strong event experience and a genuine passion for craft beer and cocktails.

Key Responsibilities

Support the General Manager with daily operations and staff supervision Lead shifts, ensuring smooth and efficient service Assist with organising, planning, and running regular events and tap takeovers Maintain high product knowledge of craft beer, cocktails, and our rotating tap list Train and mentor staff to deliver consistent, high-quality service Manage stock levels, ordering, and cellar duties as needed Uphold licensing, health & safety, and compliance standards Help create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for all guests

What We're Looking For

Strong event management experience (essential) Excellent knowledge of cocktails and craft beer Previous supervisory or assistant management experience in a bar environment is essential Confident leading a team and working in a fast-paced setting Reliable, proactive, and customer-focused Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Must be available for evening and weekend shifts
