What is the role?

Are you a passionate and motivated leader looking to take the next step in your career? We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to support the leadership team at our LEON store in Heathrow Airport Terminal 2. In this exciting role, you'll help lead and inspire the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences while supporting the Store Manager in driving performance, maintaining operational excellence, and upholding LEON's brand standards. You'll thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused environment where you can grow, develop others, and make a real impact every day.

Main duties will include:

Assist in the smooth day-to-day running of the store, ensuring high standards of service and operational efficiency. Motivate, coach, and support team members to reach their full potential, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Champion outstanding service, ensuring every guest receives a warm, welcoming, and memorable experience that reflects LEON's values. Support in managing key metrics such as labour, stock control, and cost efficiency, contributing to strong P&L performance. Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and health & safety in line with company policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will:

Have previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within hospitality or a fast-paced branded environment. Be passionate about leading by example, developing people, and creating a team culture focused on excellence. Understand key business drivers like sales, labour, and cost control, and how to influence them. Be knowledgeable in health & safety and food safety practices. Have great communication skills and a hands-on approach to problem solving. Be excited by the opportunity to work in an energetic, airport-based environment.
