We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team within the hospitality and food service industry. Duties
Assist the Manager in overseeing daily restaurant or hotel operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent service delivery
Supervise and motivate team members, including front-of-house staff such as servers, baristas, and kitchen personnel
Coordinate food preparation and cooking processes to meet quality standards and customer expectations
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across all areas
Support staff training programmes, including food production techniques, customer service skills, and health & safety procedures
Manage reservations, organise staff schedules, and handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally
Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock ordering, and oversee food presentation to uphold brand standards
Lead by example in delivering outstanding hospitality experiences while fostering teamwork and a positive atmosphere
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or hotel management is highly desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and customers
Background in restaurant experience or serving roles preferred; barista experience is an advantage
Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, including food safety regulations and service excellence
