This role is suitable for both those already working in hospitality management and looking for a change, and those working at a supervisory level looking to make the next step. Some existing knowledge of wine is desirable, however what is more important, is a genuine interest and willingness to learn more, and using that knowledge to deliver exceptional customer service. A Personal Alcohol License is required for this position. This role involves working evenings and weekends as standard.
:
Runner Duck is an award-winning, independent, specialist wine bar in Lancaster, serving high quality wines, cheeses and charcuterie. Alongside our normal operations, we also have a comprehensive wine tasting programme, which the successful candidate will be expected to assist in running.
The Assistant Manager will be the main shift runner for the premises and is expected to be available to work Friday and Saturday evenings/nights as standard (barring approved leave).
