We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring exceptional service and a positive experience for our guests. This position requires strong leadership skills, a background in hospitality, and a passion for food production and preparation.

Purpose of the Job:



The Prime Objective of Assistant Restaurant Manager is to ensure that restaurant operates efficiently and profitably whilst maintaining the reputation and ethos and co-ordinating a variety of activities at the absence/ along of Restaurant Manager. The role combines strategic planning, organizing shift patterns and day-to-day management activities.

Duties and Responsibilities :



- Assisting the Restaurant Manager in the day to day running of the restaurant; deputizing in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.

- Ensuring that exemplary hospitality is offered to all customers

- Assisting the Restaurant Manager in staff direction, planning and arranging food preparation in partnership with other staff members of the kitchen and service teams.

- Ensuring that materials are used properly and ensuring that wastage is minimised; making certain that cleanliness is maintained at the premises.

- Checking that employees wear the right uniform.

- Quality control.

- Time management: preparing reports for the Restaurant Manager, ensuring short term and long term objectives are met.

- Ensuring adequate staffing to cover the business. Developing staff in an efficient way to ensure all mis-en-place is in place for oncoming shifts.

- To ensure that the team always give exemplary hospitality to the guest.

- To ensure that orders of food and beverage are served promptly in accordance with restaurant standards.

- To produce and ensure that the team work to an agreed rigid cleaning procedure.

- To maintain and improve food and beverage profits by monitoring wastage and breakages and implementing remedial actions.

- To ensure that all standards relating to security are maintained with emphasis on restaurant equipment;

- Establish and maintain strict security procedures within your department, reporting any potential risks to the Restaurant Manager.

- Allocation for the table.

- Maintaining the guest records.

- To carry out appraisals as and when required

- Maintaining the par stock

- Coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts.

-Managing staff throughout their shift and providing them with feedback.

- Responding to customer complaints at absence of Restaurant Manager.

-Meeting and greeting customers and organizing table reservations.

-Take a training of staff as per Kayal standards

-Advising customers on menu and wine choice.

-Organizing and supervising the shifts of kitchen, waiting and cleaning staff.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From 26,200.00 per year
