We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the management in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the culinary and hospitality sectors.
Duties
Assist in supervising staff, ensuring they are trained and motivated to deliver excellent service.
Oversee food preparation and kitchen operations, maintaining compliance with food safety regulations.
Assist in managing inventory, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
Support the development of menus and culinary offerings in collaboration with the kitchen team.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
Assist in scheduling staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak times.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of both front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
Experience
Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or culinary industry is preferred.
Familiarity with bartending practices and food preparation techniques is advantageous.
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is essential.
Strong leadership abilities with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff and customers alike.
A passion for culinary arts and hospitality will be highly regarded.
