Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team in a vibrant bar environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, ideally FOH & BOH, coupled with excellent leadership & communication skills. We are looking for energetic, bubbly & social personalities who are looking to develop their careers in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Overseeing daily bar, restaurant & kitchen operations to ensure high standards of service. Supervise and train bar & wait staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Ensure compliance in all areas of the business such as Health & Safety, Food Safety, HR Lead from the front in all areas of service, primarily hosting, waiting and bartending Manage behind the scenes by organising staff rotas, ordering stock & responding efficiently and professionally to all guest enquiries

Qualifications

Proven management experience in a bar/pub environment of at least supervisory level Ideally a personal licence holder Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management Ideally a good working knowledge BOH as well as FOH Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both staff and customers. A passion for the hospitality industry and commitment to delivering high-quality service.

In addition to the basic pay, you will receive a share of the Tronc, paid via TipJar, as well as a share of all cash tips.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 50 per week
