The Marquess is a well-established and highly regarded pub situated in the vibrant heart of Canonbury Islington. We are known for our commitment to providing exceptional service, a wide selection of delicious food and drinks, and a charming and inviting atmosphere. We are excited to announce that we are actively searching for a capable and experienced Assistant Manager to become an integral part of our exceptional team!

Responsibilities

- Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the establishment
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff members
- Help with food preparation and service when necessary
- Supervise team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain food safety standards and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
- Support in managing inventory and ordering supplies
- Assist in training new employees on company policies and procedures

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, ideally in a pub, restaurant, or similar setting
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety regulations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels
- Experience in bartending is advantageous but not essential

Pay: 33,000.00 per year
