Assistant Manager

who's ready to help lead our dream team at

Yes, you can wear pyjamas to work. But this role is much more than that - it's about leading from the front, driving a customer-first culture, and taking ownership of all aspects of store performance. You'll play a key role in bringing the Peter Alexander magic to life for UK customers and building a team who live and breathe the brand.



This is a

full-time position

and requires flexibility across weekends, evenings, and peak trading periods.

RESPONSIBILITIES




Support the Store Manager in leading the team to exceed sales targets and deliver outstanding store performance Assist in implementing merchandising strategies that engage customers and drive sales Train, develop, and motivate the team to ensure continuous growth Provide regular coaching and feedback, empowering the team to reach their potential Assess store priorities and implement actions to ensure optimal performance Create a safe, inclusive, and positive working environment for the team and customers Oversee stock management, minimise loss, and maximise sales opportunities Support with rota management to ensure the right team coverage at all times Deliver a memorable customer experience that reflects the Peter Alexander brand


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE




Previous leadership experience in a retail environment, supporting a team to achieve results Passion for developing and coaching team members, fostering a growth-oriented culture Strong retail background, with a proven track record of driving sales and meeting targets Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence, collaborate, and build relationships A natural brand ambassador, delivering a customer-first approach in everything you do Demonstrated ability to assist with store operations, including stock control and visual merchandising A proactive mindset, always seeking ways to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction
