Assistant Manager

to join our dedicated team.

The Role

As an Assistant Manager, you'll work closely with the General Manager to ensure the smooth daily operation of the pub. You'll be crucial in maintaining our high standards of service, fostering a positive team environment, and contributing to the overall success and growth of our beloved venue. This is an exciting opportunity for someone ready to develop their management skills in a fast-paced, community-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence:

Support daily pub operations, acting as Duty Manager, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and licensing, and managing opening/closing, cash, and stock.

Team Leadership & Development:

Lead, motivate, train, and develop staff, fostering a supportive work environment and managing rotas.

Customer Experience:

Deliver outstanding guest service, handle inquiries and feedback, and create memorable experiences.

Financial Performance:

Assist in achieving financial targets, managing stock, and identifying revenue opportunities.
What We're Looking For

2+ years

experience as an Assistant Manager or supervisor in a busy pub or hospitality environment. A genuine

passion for hospitality

, food, and drink. Exceptional

leadership and communication skills

. Strong

organisational and problem-solving abilities

. Ability to

thrive under pressure

with a proactive, can-do attitude. Flexibility to work

evenings, weekends, and holidays

. A

personal license

is preferred but not essential.
