Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to oversee the operations of our exciting new restaurant and wine bar, with potential to grow with our company as we open more sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management, wine led bars and will have a proactive, hands on approach with lots of enthusiasm and experience of managing a small team. A love of wine and oysters is a bonus!
Duties:
- Manage daily operations of the wine bar and restaurant
- Ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction
- Oversee staff scheduling and training
- Implement and maintain food safety standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve repeat customer visits, working with the local community
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure beautiful food production and delivery
- On-going learning about our wines and oysters so we can share the knowledge with our customers
Skills:
- Previous experience in restaurant, kitchen operations, or food preparation
- Strong leadership and managerial skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Culinary background is a plus
