Responsibilities



Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficiency and quality in food production. Supervise and train staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen and dining areas. Engage with customers to provide exceptional service, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly. Support in inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels. Participate in food preparation and cooking as needed, demonstrating culinary skills to guide team members. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the restaurant. Assist in developing menus and special offerings that enhance customer satisfaction.

Skills



Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and food production. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations. Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen operations. Previous experience in barista roles or hotel environments is advantageous. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude towards customers and colleagues. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and patrons alike. Pay: 35,000.00-37,500.00 per year
