The Role


We're looking for an experienced

Assistant Manager

to join the team at

The Princess Royal

, one of our most acclaimed public houses in Notting Hill. Known for its beautiful interiors, vibrant bar, and celebrated restaurant, The Princess Royal offers a refined yet relaxed experience that captures the spirit of modern British hospitality.


As Assistant Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the General Manager to lead and inspire the team, ensure smooth day-to-day operations, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You'll bring enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for hospitality, creating a welcoming environment for both guests and colleagues alike.





Key Responsibilities


Support the General Manager in the daily running of the business, ensuring operational excellence across all areas. Lead by example on the floor, delivering warm, engaging, and professional service. Motivate, train, and develop the team to maintain Cubitt House's high service standards. Ensure the consistent delivery of outstanding food and drink, in line with our brand values. Contribute to driving sales, managing costs, and achieving financial targets. Uphold health, safety, and compliance standards at all times.




Skills & Experience


Previous experience in a management or supervisory role within a quality hospitality environment. A hands-on leader with excellent communication and organisational skills. Strong people management abilities and a focus on developing others. A genuine passion for great food, drink, and hospitality. Enthusiastic, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Eligible to work in the UK.
