Are you a seasoned coffee enthusiast who wants to progress your career? Half Million Cafe is actively seeking an experienced Assistant Manager who is committed to shaping exceptional experiences for our patrons through effective team leadership and operational excellence.

Half Million Cafe was founded in 2018 in Saudi Arabia. Named after its initial investment amount, Half Million is rapidly expanding, regularly opening new stores across Saudi Arabia. We are seeking enthusiastic team members to join the Flagship store in London and be part of our exciting international expansion journey.

As an Assistant Manager at Half Million Cafe, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our coffee culture.

Your responsibilities include:



Supporting day-to-day cafe operations, including drinks preparation, customer service, and staff supervision. Participating in the hiring, training, and supervising of baristas, servers, and other team members. Managing and leading shifts, guiding the team to maintain high standards of service and quality. Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar and store area. Assisting with inventory management and restocking of coffee supplies. Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards among staff. Contributing to maintaining an efficient inventory management system to keep food and beverage supplies well-stocked. Overseeing the preparation and presentation of food and drinks, ensuring highquality standards and customer satisfaction. Contributing to the maintenance and monitoring of cafe equipment and facilities. Collaborating in developing and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues, suppliers, vendors, and customers. Staying informed on industry trends, new products, and customer preferences, providing input for potential menu changes. Collaborate in implementing and enforcing policies and procedures for efficient cafe operations. Assist in responding to customer complaints and resolving issues promptly and professionally.

We're seeking individuals who:



Possess 2+ years of professional experience as an Assistant Manager or Manager in the coffee industry. Demonstrate knowledge of food service operations and the principles of customer service. Have the ability to motivate and lead a team of employees. Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills. Showcase excellent organisational and time management skills. Thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, contributing positively to the team, and capable of leading shifts. Possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, along with excellent communication and customer service skills. Are available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Based in or near commute to London.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

London, W1C 2PE: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:

Assistant manager: 1 year (required)
