We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in food and beverage service, and experience in supervising teams within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities



Assist the Manager in overseeing daily restaurant or hotel operations to ensure smooth functioning. Supervise and motivate team members, including front-of-house and kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Coordinate food preparation and cooking activities, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold hygiene standards across all areas. Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and service schedules to optimise customer experience. Support in training new staff members and conducting ongoing training sessions for existing team members. Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally, aiming for swift resolution and customer satisfaction. Assist with stock management, including ordering supplies, inventory control, and waste reduction initiatives. Promote a positive hospitality atmosphere by demonstrating leadership in service delivery and team management.

Requirements



Proven experience in restaurant or hotel settings, ideally with supervising responsibilities. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards. Previous experience in food production, culinary roles, or kitchen environments is highly desirable. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and motivate staff. Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure. Familiarity with hospitality operations such as serving, barista duties, or hotel services is advantageous. Demonstrated commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Relevant experience in supervising food service teams or managing restaurant operations will be considered an asset.
