Steak and Company Gloucester Road is on the lookout for a hands-on, experienced Assistant Manager to join our vibrant team!


Our Gloucester Road location offers a lively and dynamic atmosphere, featuring a full bar, weekly live music, and it's currently the only Steak and Company site serving a traditional Sunday roast. If you're passionate about hospitality and thrive in a fast-paced, fun environment, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:



Leadership and Management:

Help the General Manager oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest standards of service and customer satisfaction.

Operational Excellence:

Ensure smooth and efficient operations across the restaurant, maintaining an organized and productive environment.

Customer Experience:

Uphold the Steak and Company reputation for excellence by ensuring every guest has a memorable dining experience. Address and resolve any customer concerns promptly and professionally.

Financial Management:

Manage budgets, optimize costs, and maximize profitability. Monitor and analyse financial performance, implementing strategies for continuous improvement.

Staff Development:

Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging staff engagement and retention.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Marketing and Promotions:

Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotions, events, and marketing initiatives to attract and retain customers.

Requirements:



Proven experience as an Assistant Manager or Assistant General Manager in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a large team. Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for delivering an outstanding dining experience. Solid financial acumen with experience in budget management and financial analysis. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
