As part of our team, there will be a wide range of client facing assignments/engagements that you might work on, including providing end-to-end business advice to optimise the delivery of large Capital Projects and Programmes by, including:

• Capital Projects Delivery: Ensuring buildings meet our client's' needs through project management and employer's agent roles across a variety of large capital projects in both the private and public sectors, including Deloitte's own occupied real estate portfolio.
• Procurement and Delivery Strategy: Advising on the set up and management of large capital projects and programmes including setting up and working within PMO's, advising on approaches to procurement, contract management, programme controls, governance and organisation structure.
• Capital Projects Assurance: Reviewing the performance of capital projects to identify areas for improvement and help Client's control business risk and establish confidence in the delivery of their projects. Typically provided through implementing effective project and programme management, governance and outlining the management information needed to support effective decision making.
• Due Diligence: Providing technical construction advice to businesses going through change, supporting M&A transactions in addition to wider financial restructuring.

Essential Requirements:

• Professionally qualified with relevant qualification which may be based in Construction Project Management, Quantity Surveying/Cost Consultancy, Building Surveying, Engineering - MAPM, MCIOB, MRICS, MICE, IStructE, CEng (or equivalent) or equivalent level of experience.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and report writing skills.
• Experience working for a project management or construction consultancy delivering high quality project management services in the real estate and construction sectors.

Desirable skills and experience:

• Excellent analytical skills - desirable but not essential to have data analytics experience i.e. use of data visualisation software such as Power Bi or tableau.
• Strong communication skills honed through experience in client-facing roles.
• Excellent presentation and report writing skills.
• The ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• The ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Excellent problem solving and a strategic thinker.
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude, eager to contribute and collaborate effectively.
• The ability to travel as required (opportunity to work on assignments overseas).
• Willingness and eligibility to obtain UK security clearance (SC and/or DV level, if required).

Infrastructure and Real Estate
Our Infrastructure and Real Estate team supports both public and private sector clients on complex infrastructure, real estate, and capital projects. Typical engagements include urban regeneration, transport, energy and renewables, and occupier advisory to central government and large corporate companies.
Personal independence
Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm).
