The Beeswing is a relaxed and friendly tapas and wine bar in the heart of Manchester. We're known for great Spanish produce, a fun and accessible wine list, and welcoming service.

We're looking for an Assistant General Manager to join our small, passionate team and help lead the bar day-to-day. You'll work closely with the owner / general manager to lead service, shape events and menus, and support our small team.

It's a hands-on role that combines front-of-house management and service with team management, and some admin, like stock takes and orders. This is ideal for someone who loves hospitality and takes pride in creating a warm, welcoming environment for guests and other team members.

What we're offering:

30,000 salary (28,000 basic + 2,000 performance related bonus) + tronc (approx. 5,000/year) Mostly evenings and weekends Often 2 days off together (Sunday & Monday) 20 days' holiday + bank holidays (days in lieu of worked) Independent environment where your ideas matter Supportive, close-knit team and room to grow with the business

What we're looking for:

Confident, calm, and organised under pressure Great people skills - with guests and the team Previous supervisory or management experience in hospitality (2 years) Experience in events or handling private/corporate bookings preferred Enthusiastic about food and wine, with an eye for detail and quality Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
