Responsibilities

Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations of the restaurant or kitchen. Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service. Help with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in both front-of-house and back-of-house areas. Train new staff members on operational procedures and standards. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service. Collaborate with the kitchen team to create innovative menu items that enhance guest experience. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong culinary skills, including food preparation and knowledge of food safety practices. Experience in bartending is advantageous but not essential. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team collaboration. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for hospitality and providing exceptional customer service.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.50-14.25 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 45 per week
