We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant and kitchen experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role involves supporting the management team in daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and customer satisfaction. The Assistant Manager will play a vital role in maintaining a welcoming environment and fostering team development.

Responsibilities



Assist in overseeing daily restaurant or hotel operations to ensure smooth functioning. Supervise and motivate team members, including serving staff, kitchen personnel, and baristas, to deliver excellent service. Support food preparation and cooking activities, ensuring quality standards are met consistently. Manage food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations. Assist in training new staff members and providing ongoing coaching to existing team members. Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure efficient food production and timely service. Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally, aiming for high levels of guest satisfaction. Support inventory management, including stock control and ordering supplies as needed. Uphold hospitality standards by maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming environment.

Experience



Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Extensive restaurant experience with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety procedures. Experience in team management, demonstrating leadership qualities and effective communication skills. Familiarity with culinary practices, food production processes, and kitchen operations. Previous hotel or barista experience is advantageous but not essential. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the hospitality industry. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
