We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
Assist in managing daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow in the kitchen and dining areas
Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and service areas
Train new employees on culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service protocols
Collaborate with the management team to develop menus and improve overall service quality
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for satisfaction in every interaction
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed
Experience
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant sector
Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food production techniques
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management
Previous experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of food preparation and service
