We are seeking a dedicated and motivated person to assist in the effective operation and maintenance of our Wrap Around Care Facilities. The successful candidate will have a strong background in childcare and early childhood education, with the ability to manage and lead a team while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for working with young learners.
Responsibilities
Assist in managing the daily operations of the facilities, ensuring compliance with Care Inspectorate Wales, Welsh Government Guidelines, and Social Care Wales.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance facility operations.
Assist in leading, training, and supporting staff in delivering high-quality childcare services.
Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and stakeholders regarding facility matters.
Drive initiatives that promote a positive environment for children's learning and development.
Ensure that all facilities are well-maintained, clean, and conducive to learning.
Assist in managing budgets related to facility management and report on expenditures.
The successful candidates will work under the instruction/guidance of the manager and headteacher.
Qualifications
Good understanding of CIW systems and WG guidelines.
At least 2 years' experience of working with young children
Have appropriate experience, qualifications, skills and ability to undertake the role
At least a Level 3 qualification recognised on the Social Care Wales current list of Accepted Qualifications for the Early Years and Childcare Workforce in Wales or Skills Active's Integration Qualification Framework for Play work:

A clear, enhanced, DBS certificate
Be available on site from 8.45am-5.30pm (FEE, 9.00-11.30, Giggles 11.30-3.00, and After School Club to 5.30pm
Assist in submitting all necessary documentation to CIW
Assist in maintaining staff records and arranging CPD
Proven experience in facilities management or a similar role within a childcare setting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organisational skills.
