Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and engage with children in a safe and inclusive manner during after-school care sessions. Plan and deliver a range of age-appropriate activities, including arts and crafts, sports, games, and homework support, to promote children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. Ensure the well-being and safety of all children at all times, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures. Establish positive and supportive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere within the wrap-around care provision. Assist with the setup and cleanup of the wrap-around care environment, including arranging furniture, organizing resources, and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness. Communicate effectively with parents and school staff regarding children's progress, achievements, and any concerns or issues that may arise. Contribute to the planning and evaluation of wrap-around care activities, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement as necessary. Attend relevant training sessions and staff meetings to enhance professional development and stay updated on best practices in childcare and education.
