Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality and food service establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant management, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and optimise operational efficiency across the venue. The successful applicant will be responsible for supervising staff, managing food production processes, and upholding the highest standards of hospitality.

Responsibilities



Oversee daily operations of the restaurant. Supervise and manage team members, including , servers, baristas, and kitchen staff, fostering a positive working environment. Coordinate food preparation and cooking activities to meet quality standards and customer expectations. Implement and monitor food safety procedures in compliance with legal regulations and organisational policies. Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, ensuring efficient stock control. Develop staff schedules, organise training programmes, and oversee performance management. Ensure excellent customer service by maintaining high standards of hospitality and addressing guest concerns promptly. Analyse operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions. Uphold organisational policies related to food production, health & safety, and hygiene standards.

Experience



Proven supervising experience within the hospitality or food service industry. Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management. Experience working in restaurants, hotels, or catering environments is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively across diverse roles such as serving staff or baristas. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Familiarity with hospitality operations including restaurant service, hotel management, or barista duties is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to organise tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under pressure.
