We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our pub. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, food safety, and culinary arts, along with proven leadership skills. Duties

Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food production, service quality, and staff management. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the kitchen and dining areas. Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and bartenders, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure uninterrupted service. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. Conduct regular training sessions for staff on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and customer service excellence. Monitor financial performance by analysing sales reports and implementing cost control measures. Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration, communication, and professional growth.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a managerial role within the restaurant or food service industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary arts, and food safety standards. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Experience in supervising kitchen operations and managing food production processes. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
