The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
Assistant Security Operations Manager
to support the day-to-day delivery and operational planning of security services across a number of sectors. This key leadership role will involve the direct line management of frontline security staff, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies, and assisting in the development and delivery of safe and effective operations.

Key Responsibilities
Assist the Security Operations Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of security services across multiple sites and events.
Line manage and support a team of security personnel, supervisors, and team leaders across the night-time economy, festivals, stadia, and event sectors.
Conduct regular site visits and audits to ensure high standards of service delivery and staff performance.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of operational staff.
Prepare rotas and ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained in accordance with client requirements.
Monitor staff compliance with SIA regulations, company procedures, and health and safety protocols.
Act as a point of escalation for incident response and operational challenges.
Develop strong client relationships and ensure service delivery meets or exceeds contractual obligations.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the roll-out of new systems and procedures.
Assist with post-event reporting, debriefs, and operational reviews.
Person Specification
Essential:
Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the security industry.
Experience in managing staff across varied environments (e.g., nightlife, festivals, large events).
Current SIA Door Supervisor or Close Protection Licence.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across sites.
Desirable:
Level 3 Certificate in Security Management or similar qualification.
Experience in working with local authorities, police, or licensing bodies.
First Aid at Work certification.
Experience using workforce management software.
