Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supporting the management team in daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the highest standards of customer service. Previous experience in retail environment are highly desirable, along with a comprehensive understanding of till work, stock management, customer speaking and much more.

Duties

Supervise and motivate team members, fostering a positive and efficient work environment Manage staff schedules, organise shifts, and monitor performance to optimise productivity Assist in training new staff members in all aspects of the shop Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and organisation Support management by monitoring stock levels and placing orders when necessary Being a good spokesperson when a customer has an issue Completing a variety of paperwork Running deliveries and promotion change

Requirements

Prior knowledge working in a shop Excellent team management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail Organised with excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour Must be fully flexible and be able to work mornings and evenings Must be 18 or over

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: From 12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
