ASSISTANT MANAGER JOB ROLE



The Treehouse Bar and Kitchen in Otley and we are looking for an assistant manager.

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for the day to day running of the venue and will report to the Venue Manager.

Ensuring all day-to-day activities and operations are in line with company and brand standards of service, product offer and legislative compliance policies/ procedures

What are we looking for?



Experience in a similar branded venue working as an Assistant Manager or similar management role. A passion to delivering the perfect experience A genuine passion for craft cocktails and amazing food. Be willing to learn, develop and improve own skills, whilst having the ability to progress and engage others Always attentive and proactive An excellent team player with exceptional communication skills Be fun-loving, have a great character and enjoy the culture that our industry offers

CUSTOMER SERVICE



Always deliver the highest standards of customer service. Responsible for improving customer service and performance. Ensure that you and your team are always unfailingly courteous to all customers.

STANDARDS



Assist the Venue Manager in meeting product, hygiene and safety standards as defined by the Company. Ensure the highest level of in-house cleanliness. Ensure pro-active upkeep of property both internally and externally. Present self professionally and groomed to Company standards at all times. Ensure team are well-groomed and professionally presented in line with the Brand Standards.

PEOPLE



Deliver team meetings, taking relevant notes. Lead by example at all times. Responsible for managing a team on a day-to-day basis Responsible for scheduling cast, training & development, conducting probation reviews. Assist with employee relations. Demonstrate fair and consistent approach to all team members. Assist in recruitment process and conducting interviews.

GENERAL



Adherence to all policies and procedures Ensure full compliance and adhere to all licensing, health and safety legislation that impact the venue. Ensure the integrity and reputation of the venue are never jeopardised. Ensure the security of the building, contents and staff Take full responsibility for service standards, profitability, people, communication and compliance in the absence of the General Manager.
