Key Responsibilities
Support the Store Manager in all aspects of daily operations
Lead the team in the manager's absence, ensuring continuity and compliance
Assist with staff supervision, coaching, and performance feedback
Maintain merchandising standards and stock control procedures
Help implement sales strategies and monitor performance against targets
Contribute to rota planning, reporting, and administrative tasks
Ensure excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly
Foster a positive and professional team culture
Communicate effectively with the Store Manager and senior leadership
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience in retail, ideally in a supervisory or assistant manager or managers role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage tasks independently
Experience in merchandising, customer service, and team coordination
Administrative competence in scheduling and reporting
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable
Preference given to candidates with experience in high-volume retail environments such as Poundland or similar
