We are a friendly family run business with a number of Residential Care Homes and are actively recruiting for a motivated individual to join the team as Deputy Manager in the Shurdington area.

Requirements:




Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant with a minimum of NVQ3 qualification. Good commercial understanding including managing budgets and driving occupancy. Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders including residents, families and other healthcare professionals. Strong management and organisational skills. Good computer and analytical skills. Self-motivated with a "can do" attitude. Eager to stay active and who want to give back to the community and committed to promoting good quality care at all times. As part of the role you will be required to work alternate weekends, out of hours or evenings

Role

:


Actively supporting the Home Manager in the operational day to day management of the Care Home. Acting as deputy for the Home Manager Support the delivery of person-centred care that promotes choice, respect and dignity to empower people to live as independent as possible. Working with staff to ensure they are adequately trained and skilled. Leading and managing the team and being a role model for staff. Supporting the Home Manager to ensure the Home is compliant with all relevant regulation and assist in the management of an effective Audit & Quality Assurance programme. Drive innovation and continuous improvements in the Home.
