Responsibilities

Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Support the management of food safety standards and practices within the kitchen and dining areas. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and preparation, maintaining high-quality culinary standards. Train, supervise, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding service and achieve operational goals. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, providing solutions to enhance guest satisfaction. Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels to minimise waste. Implement health and safety regulations within the workplace, ensuring a safe environment for all employees and guests. Participate in staff meetings and contribute ideas for improving efficiency and service quality.

Experience

Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hotel or restaurant industry is essential. Strong understanding of food safety regulations and culinary practices is highly desirable. Proven ability to manage teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by operational needs.
