About You:



Ideally you'll have experience at supervisor/management or leadership level within a similar business.

You'll ideally have a knowledge of, or passion for, great beer, wine and spirits.

You'll be a people person, happy to adapt and meet our customers needs and ensure they have a great time with us.

Capable of working alongside or in a team and keen to learn and add value to the business.

About the role:



The role will include, amongst other things:

Opening / Closing the bar in line with company standards including cashing up

Greeting, serving customers, recommending products, taking payments, ensuring the standards and presentation of the business at all times in line with company expectations

Serving/dispensing alcohol in line with legal requirements & responsibilities as set out during your induction

Food service, preparation, dishwashing, including the handling of meat, dairy and allergens (please inform us if this presents an issue)

Stocking / Re-stocking the bar, accepting deliveries and storing them accordingly, cellar work and changing of kegs & casks

Maintaining company standards and completing jobs and tasks as set out by your manager or the company, including cleaning tasks and following H&S / Food Standards / Financial reporting guidance and rules

Supporting your GM in the day to day running of the business and pub

Attending training courses or team meetings as and when required by the company

Shift leadership ensuring the smooth running of shifts in line with company standards & procedures

Helping to train & recruit new staff members

Engaging with our wonderful array of products behind the bar and in the fridges and developing a strong knowledge of our products and service standards

Completing any other reasonable tasks, jobs or duties as requested by your manager or the company.

We are interviewing now for this role, with a start date in early January, depending on your availability and notice period.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.50-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week
