Job Description
The Railway Arms is a successful community owned pub in Saffron Walden.
Since our launch in 2021 trade has grown significantly, with a range of events and regular groups making use of our facilities.
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will work with our manager on day to day running of the pub, covering holidays and days off. Main responsibilities will include shift management, event
coordination and staff training.
The successful applicant will be able to work under pressure and will
possess a pragmatic approach and appropriate work ethic. Communication
skills, including IT and social media will also be important. A personal licence would be advantageous.
This is a full time role with a starting salary of 30,000 pa. There is possibility of bonus.
