Edinburgh Carpet and Flooring Warehouse are looking to recruit driven ambitious Assistant Managers, who have a passion for customer service. Our business focuses on people, products and culture.
Skills required;
A proven track record in the Carpet & Flooring Industry
Supervisor / team leader experience is a must
Leadership skills, good communication
Decision-making capability and initiative
Attention to detail
Confidence dealing with both customer queries and staff issues
Assistant Manager Duties include;
. Driving store sales and footfall.
Supporting the store manager with the smooth operation and day-to-day running of the store.
People management and training.
Support & encourage the on-going development of your team through regular training and personal development plans
Develop good customer relationships, address any employee/ customer concerns
Daily supervision- staffing, training, discipline, scheduling and monitoring performance
Always ensure high calibre customer service
The candidates will be a self-motivated, passionate with previous exposure to working in a customer focussed retail environment. You must be prepared to lead your team from the front.
Salary for this role is Up to 24000 plus commissions, dependant on experience.
