The Green Rooms is a Build-to-Rent (BTR) residential development in Media, offering a variety of apartment styles with private balconies and views over the ship canal. The building features a resident gym and communal co-working space. You will join a small, dynamic team to manage all aspects of the development while helping to build a strong, engaged resident community.
About the Role
Amro is seeking a committed, organised, and proactive Assistant Manager to help and support the Associate Director with the day-to-day operations of the building. You will support leasing activities, maintenance scheduling, community engagement, and compliance with health, safety, and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing all aspects of the lettings journey, from marketing to welcoming residents, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Maintain up-to-date records for health & safety compliance and training.
Coordinate daily operations, ensuring service quality consistently exceeds resident expectations.
Support financial processes, including invoicing, rental collection, and monitoring arrears under guidance.
Assist maintenance teams with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and small works projects.
Foster a strong resident community through events and social media management.
Provide excellent customer service to residents and visitors, acting as a key point of contact.
Act as a role model for company values and key behaviours.
Support accurate processing of invoices and adherence to financial procedures.
Assist marketing and community management teams in creating and implementing social media content calendars.
Support move-in and move-out processes to ensure a consistently positive and efficient resident experience.
Skills & Qualifications
Experience & Technical Knowledge
Understanding of the residential property market.
Previous property management experience preferred but not essential.
Knowledge of property processes, maintenance, and facilities management.
Basic accounting skills, including credit control and purchase ledger.
People & Interpersonal Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication, with sensitivity when required.
Strong customer service skills and experience in face-to-face interactions.
Proactive, confident, and able to enhance the reputation of the building.
Professional presentation and outgoing personality.
Driven, self-motivated, and capable of taking initiative.
Highly organised, able to problem solve and work under pressure.
Team player with a sense of ownership and responsibility.
Genuine interest in property and real estate.
Knowledge & IT Skills
Good level of education with strong communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
