Summary

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team at Terrace Goods. This role is crucial in supporting our operations and ensuring a high-quality experience for our guests. You will play a key part in our exciting growth plans as we embark on new projects.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily operations to ensure smooth service delivery. Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the establishment. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and quality food preparation. Engage with customers to provide excellent service and address any inquiries or concerns. Help develop training programs for new staff members to uphold company standards. Knowledge of Food and beverage stock taking systems as well as showing innovation to develop and manage our own processes and procedures. Assist in creation of new food and beverage menu's and put your stamp on the business. Perform general management tasks such as ordering, stock takes, scheduling and managing upkeep of booking and POS systems.

Requirements

Proven experience in a management role within the restaurant or hospitality industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in culinary operations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A hands on attitude to problem solving, either technological or in person.

Pay: 28,500.00-29,500.00 per year
