We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the childcare industry, with a focus on delivering the EYFS. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring that our children and parents receive exceptional service while maintaining high standards of safeguarding and quality.
Duties
Assist in the management of daily operations, ensuring smooth running of the nursery.
Oversee the day to day running of the rooms, supporting staff members with the EYFS.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment.
Implement safeguarding protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Train new staff members.
Handle inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
Collaborate with the management team to develop and improve, that reflect new standards and preferences.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a supervisory role within childcare. .
Excellent leadership abilities, capable of motivating and managing a diverse team.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen operations.
Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A passion for childcare.
