We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in food preparation and service, and experience managing teams within a restaurant, hotel, or similar environment. Responsibilities
Assist in overseeing daily restaurant or hotel operations to ensure smooth functioning
Supervise and motivate team members, including front-of-house and kitchen staff
Ensure high-quality culinary standards are maintained
Support in managing food safety protocols and compliance with health regulations
Monitor service delivery to ensure excellent customer experiences
Manage inventory levels and assist with stock control procedures
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
Support event planning and special service offerings as required
Contribute to maintaining a welcoming environment that promotes teamwork and high performance
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting
Experience in food safety management and adherence to health standards
Knowledge of food production processes and service techniques such as serving or barista work
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
Familiarity with hospitality industry practices including hotel or restaurant management is highly desirable
Previous experience in culinary roles or hospitality environments will be considered an asset
