We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the hospitality industry, particularly in food preparation and service. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations within our establishment, providing leadership to staff, and maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service.
Duties
Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations of the restaurant or hospitality venue.
Supervise and train staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and standards.
Engage in food preparation and cooking, maintaining quality and presentation.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices.
Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as necessary.
Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and leadership.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
Participate in menu planning and development, contributing culinary expertise.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas.
Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant sector.
Strong culinary skills with experience in food production and preparation.
Knowledge of food safety standards and practices.
Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management.
Previous experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality service.

Pay: 12.50-13.25 per hour
