Duties

Assist in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow within the kitchen and dining areas. Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and serving procedures. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Collaborate with the management team to develop menus and enhance food production efficiency. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted service. Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and leadership. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures while promoting a culture of hospitality.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food safety practices. Background in restaurant or culinary settings is highly desirable. Experience in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous. Familiarity with barista duties is a plus for establishments serving coffee beverages. Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and staff alike. A passion for delivering outstanding service within a fast-paced environment.
