We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring that both staff and customers have a positive experience. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of supervisory experience, and a passion for vintage/retro. You will work closely with the management team to maintain high standards of sales performance, customer service, and overall functionality.
Duties
Assist in managing daily operations of the establishment.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain high standards of customer service.
Provide leadership to the team, fostering a positive work environment.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during a shift.
Collaborate with management on planning and rent control.
Maintain effective communication with staff to ensure smooth operations.
Networking with current & potential traders.
Some administrative tasks.
Assist in general cleaning.
Skills
Proven experience in sales, retail and/or emporiums.
Strong supervisory experience with demonstrated team management abilities.
Background in retail with excellent customer service skills.
Great organisational skills.
Product knowledge.
Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and enhance productivity.
