We're on the lookout for an assistant manager to join our team. The person we're looking for will feel comfortable creating a customer-focused environment as well as driving sales. They will be taking ownership of the day to day running of the coffee shop through effective management of stock, labour, and customer service, inspiring their team to follow their lead.
We roast and cup speciality coffee on site and will be offering extensive tasting and sales training for our new assistant manager - we really hope you like coffee!
The successful candidate will be directly involved as a barista in line with our brand, so experience with speciality coffee is advantageous. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Barista
Rota
Sales
Stock & Due Diligence
Close communication with directors
Maintaining our high standards of customer service & speciality coffee
Follow up with staff regarding delegated duties
Social media where appropriate
This is a 30 hour max (During probation) per week role with weekend availability. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate leadership and problem solving skills and will have experience in hospitality in a position of authority.
Candidate must provide references and be available to work weekends
