In the heart of Truro on Tabernacle Street, Hooked! is the original meeting place, specialising in the finest local seafood.
We're the perfect venue for lunch, dinner, a glass of wine or just an amazing coffee.
We use the finest locally sourced ingredients to create mouth watering and original dishes to suit all tastes. Our menus change regularly but expect to find plenty of fish & shellfish as well as meat and vegetarian options, hand crafted by our amazing team.?
We are now looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our fun and friendly front of house team!
This position is full-time and we will require you to have availability to work lunch-times, evenings and weekends. Candidates should be flexible, hard working and be passionate about high standards of customer service. Experience in a similar leadership role is required.
To be considered for this role you must
Have a genuine interest for the world of food and drink Be able to lead by example and manage a small team Be able to work on your own if necessary Have excellent communication skills Have a passion for providing excellent customer service at all times Have the ability to work well under pressure Be able to perform stock taking/ordering, cash handling and cashing up Be responsible as a key holder for opening and closing the restaurant Bar and barista knowledge is essential Leadership experience required
