Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring exceptional service and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This position requires strong team management skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to supervise staff effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth service delivery. Supervise and support team members in their roles, fostering a collaborative work environment. Help with food & beverage in delivering exceptional service and, adhering to safety and hygiene standards. Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the establishment. Provide training and guidance to new staff members on operational procedures. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service. Collaborate with the management team to implement strategies for improving service quality.

Experience

Previous experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety practices is essential. Experience in bartending or managing bar operations is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and customers. A passion for providing outstanding customer service and enhancing guest experiences.
