Summary
'Assistant Manager' role at Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries is a vital position supporting our mission to deliver outstanding early childhood education and care. This role involves overseeing daily operations and ensuring our high standards are met, contributing to a safe and enriching environment for children.
Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily nursery operations to ensure smooth functioning.
Support the leadership team in implementing EYFS
Supervise staff to promote a positive and productive work environment.
Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and health & safety standards.
Contribute to maintaining high-quality care and learning experiences.
Support parent communication and engagement initiatives.
Assist in staff training and development.
Help foster a welcoming environment for children, families, and staff

Proven team management and leadership skills.
Full and relevant early years qualification
Previous experience as a Deputy Manager is essential
Able to lead and motivate a team
Proven success at supervising staff
Excellent EYFS knowledge and able to implement high quality practice
Excellent parent partnerships
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to support staff development and team cohesion.
Knowledge of childcare regulations and standards is preferred.
