Responsibilities

Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth running of the restaurant. Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive team environment and encouraging professional development. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. Participate in food preparation and cooking as needed, demonstrating culinary skills to support the kitchen team. Manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies, and ensuring proper storage of food products. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving to enhance guest satisfaction. Support the implementation of promotional activities and special events to drive business growth. Maintain accurate records related to food production, staff schedules, and operational costs.

Experience

Previous experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is essential. Culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods is highly desirable. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is required to ensure compliance. Experience in team management, demonstrating strong leadership skills to motivate staff effectively. Background in serving or barista roles would be advantageous, along with general kitchen experience.
